Dam: RID Mountain Dew (Hornby Premium Mare), by RID Mountain Prince.

Half sister to 2002 Breed Show Champion RID “Tynedale Riverdance”. (now exported to the USA).

A lovely compact little filly, Mountain Heroine takes after her sire in looks, and has the pedigree behind her on both sides to produce top class foals. She herself, was placed in her only class, in her only show – the Royal Cornwall Show, as a 2 year old, despite being in a large hunter breeding class, against TB X’s (mostly by the top HIS stallion Kings Composer from Dalcotes Stud). Due to there not being any ID classes of any sort within a 300 mile radius of us, we have not been able to enter her in any class against her own type, but given the very positive remarks she got during her grading, we feel sure she would do very well.

Her first foal, born in 2005, is by Cork Arthur, and he is a stunning colt, even though he can't make up his mind whether to be dun, roan or grey!
